Detailed Description: Hoffman H2OMit™ Pentair Composite vent drain is made of durable, corrosion-resistant polyester with stainless steel sleeve for durability. It can be used to drain out accumulated water and collected liquids from the bottom of an enclosure to minimize corrosion. It measures 1.250 Inch diameter x 2 Inch. It makes use of gravity to remove collected liquids. Drain is featured with 7/8-Inch hole at bottom for easy mounting. It has one-way mechanical shut-off that operates when pressure is equalized prevents water and contaminants from entering the enclosure.

Vent drain maintains enclosures UL type rating when properly installed. It can be used as an air pressure equalizer to minimize the harmful effects of temperature-induced vacuums that could pull water and moisture into the enclosure. It is provided with 1/2-Inch NPT for easy connection. Installs in the bottom of mild steel, aluminum, stainless steel or non-metallic enclosures. Vent drain is UL/cUL/CSA listed.
