Detailed Description: 3M Low voltage cold shrink inline splice kit is ideal for 0 - 1-kilo-Volts cable with 250 - 500 kcmil aluminum or copper conductor sizes. It has overall jacket diameter of 1.55 - 4.00 Inch. Kits are used for indoor and outdoor installations, including direct burial, aerial and submersible applications. Kit needs 3M Armorcast ™ structural material.

For use with 3/C or 4/C Armor Power Cable (Teck-90) up to 1000 V.3MÖ 3/C Armored Power Cable 5730 Series accommodates a full range of cable sizes from 14 AWGû750 kcmil. The overall jacket diameter ranges from 0.62û4.00 (16û10ò mm). Notes:ò Connectors are not included in the kit. Use only CSA certified compression connectors. Vinyl or nylon butt connectors are preferred for 5730 and 5731 series. ò Amount of armorcast needed is based on two half-lapped layers and 15Æ rolls.
