Detailed Description: Appleton CESD Series 4-Pole 3-Wire Receptacle features copper free aluminum and malleable iron construction for enhanced longer durability. Receptacle has a current rating of 60 Amps. Receptacle has a voltage rating of 125 - 250 VAC. It comes with a mounting box and is used in CPH mating plugs. It is explosion proof and dust-ignition proof. Factory sealed receptacle can be easily surface mounted with 1-1/4-Inch feed-thru hub. Insulator offers superior dielectric and mechanical strength. It finds application in lighting systems, conveyors, heaters, motor-generator sets, air conditioners, compressors and pumps. Brass contacts with its unique design apply constant pressure along entire contact surface and allows superior electrical contact.

Receptacle includes fiberglass reinforced polyester insulating blocks and pressure wire terminal connectors for quick installation. Energized receptacle contacts are deeply recessed to reduce danger of accidental touching. It features beryllium copper wire springs. Spring door helps in keeping dust out of receptacle when plug is not in use. Smooth, rounded integral bushing in each hub helps in protecting conductor insulation. It measures 7.250 Inch x 9.310 Inch x 12.750 Inch. Receptacle is UL listed, CSA certified and meets Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups D standards.
