Detailed Description: Hammond Type-12 Oil-tight consolet enclosure is made of 14-gauge steel with ANSI 61 gray polyester powder paint finish over pretreated surfaces to provide durability. It has smooth, continuously welded seams and offers 30 deg or 60 deg slope on front cover depending on mounting position. Consolet is ideally used as electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control and instrument enclosures. It offers superior protection against dirt, dust, oil and water. Consolet has continuously hinged cover that can be conveniently removed by pulling the hinge pin. It has captive cover screws that are threaded into sealed wells for easy installation. Consolet has oil resistant gasket. Door has bonding stud and a ground stud on the enclosure to offer perfect sealing. Consolet is ideal for flat/surface mounting/pedestal to offer required control slope. Consolet enclosure is UL listed, CSA certified and RoHS compliant.
