Detailed Description: Cooper Crouse-Hinds Expansion/deflection coupling offers enhanced protection to the conduit wiring systems from damage due to movements. It features Feraloy® iron alloy hubs, molded neoprene outer jacket, stainless steel jacket clamps, molded plastic inner sleeve and tinned copper flexible braid construction. Inner sleeve maintains constant ID in any position and provides a smooth insulated wireway for protection of wire insulation. Watertight flexible neoprene outer jacket is corrosion resistant and protects the grounding strap/the attachment points of the hubs. Tinned copper flexible braid grounding straps assure grounding continuity. Stainless steel jacket clamps for strength and corrosion resistance. Standard tapered electrical threads fit standard rigid conduit. Integral hub bushing protects insulation of conductors. Deflection coupling has trade size of 1 inch. It measures 3-15/16 Inch diameter x 7 Inch. Angular misalignment of the axes of the coupled conduit runs in any direction to 30 deg. It is ideally designed for PVC and standard rigid conduits. Coupling is UL listed.
