Detailed Description: Cooper Crouse-Hinds Condulet® Hub with cover is installed within hazardous areas to protect conductors. Box is an electro-galvanized and aluminum acrylic painted Feraloy® iron alloy. It measures 5-9/16 Inch. Splice type box can provide access to conductors for maintenance and future system changes in unsafe areas. It acts as sealing fittings and mounting outlets for fixtures with appropriate covers. It has water shedding cover that is suitable for wet locations when mounted in upright position. External cover threads on body protecting conductors from damage during pulling. No pinching of conductors occurs during cover installation.

Box has six different arrangements of taper threaded hubs that provide ground continuity. Explosion-proof box has smooth integral hub bushing to protect conductor insulation while pulling and internally threaded cover openings for additional wiring room. Flat overlapping threaded covers furnished with box has weather-resistant finish. Dust-Ignition proof Box is UL listed, has CSA certification and meets NEC/CEC standards.
