Detailed Description:
Bussmann Low-Peak® Class RK1 Time-delay fuse is rated at 100 Amps/600 VAC/300 VDC. It has an interrupt rating of 300 kilo-Amps RMS and 100 kilo-Amps DC. Fuse offers a time-delay of minimum 10 seconds at 500% of rated current providing ultimate protection. It features blade ends and can be mounted on a holder with knife-blade termination. Its time-delay characteristics allow 130% FLA sizing for back-up motor overload protection and single-phasing protection. It measures 1.110 Inch x 7.880 Inch. Dual-element fuse can be used as a time-delay or a slow-blow fuse making it economical. Limits current for maximum short-circuit protection and reduced arc flash hazard.
Low voltage fuse offers low watt loss power consumption and its electrically isolated end caps provide additional safety. Also provides maximum protection to motors against burnout from overloads and single phasing. Using simple 2:1 ampacity ratio, easy selective coordination can be achieved. It finds its application in large distribution switchboards, power panelboards, motor control centers and machinery disconnect switches. Fuse is UL listed and CE/CSA certified.
