Detailed Description: Hitachi Category 5e outdoor cable has a black color polyolefin jacket for UV and abrasion resistance. It accommodates four pair of wires with a conductor wire size of 24 AWG and has a tolerance of 10%. Cable is riser rated and includes watertight gel with superior dielectric properties for optimum transmission performance. It is ideally used in direct burial, lashed aerial, duct and underground conduit applications. It has a nominal capacitance of 330 pF/100 m and intends to provide an impedance of 100 +/-15 Ohm at a frequency range of 1 - 400 MHz. It includes an insertion loss of 48.5 dB at 400 MHz and has maximum delay skew of 45 nano-seconds/100 m.

Cable is highly insulated with polyolefin for flame/fire resistance and is reliable at a temperature range of -40 to 70 deg C. It has an outer diameter of size 0.230 Inch with a velocity factor 63% at a voltage rating of 300 Volts. It has a conductor made of bare copper for electrical stability and weighs 25.75 lb/1000 ft to provide efficient service. It is ideally used in 10G BASE-T 10/1000 BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet, 1000/ 622 Mbps ATM, 100 BASE-T Ethernet, broadband video, for direct burial, lashed, aerial, duct/underground and conduit in multiple applications.
