Detailed Description: Progress Lighting 6 Inch LED housing measuring 13.375 Inch x 9.5625 Inch x 9.1875 Inch fits into 2 x 10 construction making it perfect for new construction applications. It is a universal J-box that comes with snap-out sides for convenience. It is featured with 1/2-Inch and 3/4-Inch knockouts for rigid conduit or BX fittings. It has an easy access door for field inspection of wiring. It has be adjusted from 1/2 - 2 inches in accordance ceiling thickness. Exterior of the housing is made of steel for added durability. It is provided with a notch making it ideal for chalk line alignment. Bottom of the housing is provided with a fiberglass gasket to reduce heat transfer into ceiling cavity. It features integral nailers for wood joist for construction, integral T-bar mounting clamps and 24-Inch span for T-bar spacing. Housing is UL listed.
