Detailed Description: 3M Scotch® 2228 Series Sealing and insulating tape of 10 ft features ethylene propylene rubber backing material. It has a thickness of 65 mil and can be applied easily over irregular surfaces for excellent moisture resistance. Tape has a maximum voltage rating of 600 Volts. It can withstand temperature of 90 deg C. It is conformable for application over irregular surfaces. Tape is compatible with solid dielectric cable insulations. It offers an excellent adhesion and sealing characteristics with copper, aluminum and power cable jacket materials. Self-fusing tape is flexible over wide temperature range. It has thick construction that allows quick application build-up and padding over irregular connections. Tape meets RoHS compliant.
